JadaArt is the creative practice of Jacquie Mitchell, a Canadian mixed media artist based in Lethbridge, Alberta. Working primarily in abstract fluid art, resin, and jewelry, Jacquie creates original pieces that blend movement, color, and texture into whimsical, nature-inspired forms. Her work often reflects oceanic, celestial, and earthy influences, with a focus on luminous finishes and handcrafted detail.

Since beginning fluid art, she has expanded into resin and jewelry, continually exploring new techniques and materials. Each painting, sculptural project, or wearable piece is made with the intention of sparking curiosity and inspiring mystical, imaginative connections in the viewer.

My Why

My name is Jacquie, and at 69 years old, art has come full circle in my life. After spending many years focused on raising a family, building a career as a registered nurse, and caring for others, I am now retired and have returned to my lifelong passion for creating.

I find inspiration in the beauty of nature, photography, and the people around me. Creating art brings me peace, joy, and a deep sense of satisfaction. It allows me to continually challenge myself, explore new ideas, and grow as an artist. My goal is simple: to keep learning, keep creating, and be the very best version of myself through my art.
